Goals
A goal is the bigger reason behind what you do, like “Run a half marathon”, “Feel less stressed at work” or “Save for a house”. Goals are optional: your habits, routines and plans work without them.
Where to find your goals
Open You and expand Goals.
Create a goal
The easiest way is to talk it through with your coach. On the You screen, tap Explore your why with your coach, or just tell your coach what you want to achieve.
To add one yourself:
- Tap + in the tab bar, then New goal.
- Choose a life area: Fitness, Health, Work, Education, Finances, Relationships, Spirituality or Other.
- Write what you want to achieve.
- Tap through the target date step.
- Add why it matters and what success looks like, then tap Add goal. Or tap Skip.
Link a goal to a plan
Open a habit, routine, plan or project and tap Link a goal as your why (or ⋯ then Name, goal & display). Pick a goal from the list. Linking a goal explains what something is for; it doesn’t change the schedule.
A goal’s page lists everything linked to it under What supports this.
Complete or archive a goal
Open the goal and tap:
- Mark goal complete when you’ve achieved it. You can change your mind with Make active again.
- Archive goal to remove it. Your routines, plans, projects and activity history stay.
You can also change a goal’s life area from its page, or tap Revisit your why to talk it over with your coach.
