Habits
A habit is one practice you repeat on a regular schedule, like a daily walk, stretching three times a week or reading before bed.
Create a habit
- Go to Plans, tap Add, then New habit. You can also tap + in the tab bar, choose Add activity, then switch to Habit at the top.
- Pick a type (Workout, Run, Walk, Bike, Swim, Yoga, Pilates, Mobility, Stretch, Meditation, Rest or Other).
- Give it a name and tap Continue.
- Add a duration if you like, choose the day it Starts, and pick the days it should Repeat on.
- Tap Add Habit.
Change the days or time
Open the habit from Plans. Under Repeats, tap the ⋯ menu and choose Edit days & time.
- Which days: choose the days of the week. The summary shows “Every day” or how many times a week.
- What time: set a time, or leave it as Any time. Habits without a time appear under Anytime on your Today screen.
- Show in your calendar adds each session to your connected calendar.
- Focus session lets you start a timer when you do it (iPhone only, see Focus sessions).
Changes apply from today. Sessions you’ve already started or edited keep their details.
To stop a habit repeating, choose Stop repeating. To retire it entirely, use Finish from the ⋯ menu at the top of the page.
Missed days
If you miss a habit, that day is simply marked as missed. It doesn’t carry over to the next day.
