TroubleshootingHealth data isn't syncing

Health data isn’t syncing

Check the basics

  • Give it a few minutes. Data syncs from your watch to your phone, then to flourish. Your first sync after connecting brings in your history, which can take a while.
  • Open flourish. Some data only syncs while the app is open.
  • Check the health icon at the top of Today or the chat. If it says your health data needs attention, tap it.

Apple Health or Health Connect

Missing data is almost always a permission that’s turned off.

  • iPhone: open the Settings app, tap Health, Data Access & Devices, Flourish, and turn on all categories.
  • Android: open Health Connect, tap App permissions, Flourish, and allow all.

Also check the data is actually in Apple Health or Health Connect. If your watch’s app doesn’t write to them, connect the wearable directly instead.

Wearables (Garmin, Oura, WHOOP and others)

  • In Settings, Integrations, tap the service. Check it’s connected and when it last synced.
  • Open the wearable’s own app and make sure it has synced from your device.
  • If it still isn’t working, tap Disconnect, then connect again. Data you’ve already synced is kept.

flourish matches synced workouts to planned activities automatically. If one didn’t match, ask your coach: “Link this morning’s run to my planned run.”
